Welcome to SpringsStartUp.com. The crew here at SpringsStartUp.com has been passionate about business and innovation in the Colorado Springs community for a long time and we’re happy to have a place on the web to voice that passion.
Our mission for this site is to provide news and information related to startup and entrepreneurial activity in the Colorado Springs community. We aim to highlight people and companies pursuing innovative things as well as events and organizations that help foster the entrepreneurial spirit in our region.
Related to the new Startup Colorado Initiative, we hope to be an important part of the startup community in Colorado and will do everything we can to help expand the corridor of innovation along the Front Range from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins.

Ian Lee
Ian Lee is Co-Founder of Tins.ly Inc., a local tech startup, & The High Society, a Colorado Springs-based record label. Ian has lived in Colorado Springs for over 8,700 days! He is passionate about his involvement with entrepreneurial activities in the Rocky Mountain region. Ian loves startups, the people that create them, and those whose businesses support them.

Nick Lee
Nick Lee is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Tins.ly Inc. as well as the Chief Financial Officer at The High Society, a Colorado Springs-based record label. A 25+ year resident of Colorado Springs, Nick has over 15 years of experience in the Information Technology industry having worked for Colorado Springs-based companies ranging from Digital Equipment Corporation (and Compaq and HP) to ITT and SPARTA. Nick has academic qualifications in Business, Psychology, and Sociology. He is currently a lecturer of Sociology at UCCS.

John Stewart
John Stewart is the Chief Opportunity Officer of Tins.ly Inc. A 5+ year resident of Colorado Springs, John has over 8 years of nationwide experience in marketing and product innovation and development in various fields. Outside of his responsibilities with Tins.ly, John is also Co-Founder of The High Society, a Colorado Springs-based record label, and works as an audio engineer for artists the world over. Jan Horsfall
Jan Horsfall, current CEO of Gelazzi, inc. was former VP of Consumer Brand Strategy for Valvoline, SVP of Marketing of Lycos, Founder and CMO of many other firms over the past 20+ years. Jan sits on the boards of the CSU College of Business as well as many Colorado Springs based companies, and is a founding co-Chairman of Startup Colorado which launched in November 2011. Jan resides in Colorado Springs with his wife, and five children. He enjoys all of the steps in growing a business; and is passionate about giving back to Colorado Entrepreneurs.
